1. Completing all required forms
2. Paying for your enrollment fee
The following is a summary of some of the aspects addressed in detail in Bambini's Policy Statement and Parent's Handbook which is given to parents during the enrollment process:
There is a one-time non-refundable enrollment fee of $600.00 per child, optionally payable in installments.
Tuition is due the first of every month. A late fee will be added to accounts not paid by the 5th of the month. Payments received after the 5th of each month, will have a $10.00 per day fee. Failure to pay the complete balance by the 5th of each month can result in an interruption in your childcare services.
Bambini provides breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. For more information, please check our Nutrition page.
The opening and closing times are strictly observed. Fees for late pick up after 6PM are due upon pickup (paid to the teacher required to stay overtime) and are assessed as follows: $5.00 for the first five minutes and $2.00 for every additional minute. Failure to pay late pickup charges or frequent late pickups may result in dismissal.
A fee of $35.00 plus any bank charges will be charged for any returned check. Cash or money orders will be required as payment for a returned check and all future tuition and fee payments.
There's a $100 non-refundable waitlist signup fee. Signing up for our waitlist doesn't guarantee a spot at any particular time, but parents in the waitlist are given priority for enrollment over those who are not.
Bambini covers all activity supplies, gifts for holidays, extracurricular activities and special event resources.

Children who are ill should be kept at home. Please DO NOT bring your child to the center if:
Medication: At times it may be necessary for your child to receive medication at the center. For the protection of the staff and child, only medication prescribed by a doctor can be administered. A medication permission form must be filled out before the medication can be administered. Bottles of medication must be labeled with the child's name, the dosage, and instructions for administering the medicine written on the bottle. All medicine must be in its original prescription container.
Discipline: Bambini believes in a positive approach to discipline. We offer guidance and direction, not punishment. Children are praised for displaying positive behavior; negative behavior is immediately discouraged and given minimal attention. At Bambini we expect our staff to:
Facility Security: Entrance to the center is locked at all times. Admittance is gained by calling our center at (202) 737-5454.
Fire Drills: Fire drills are conducted on a monthly basis as required by D.C. licensing and the Fire Marshall. These monthly drills are announced and occur at different times of the day. Teachers follow Bambini's approved evacuation plan and procedure for exit routes and head count confirmation.
In the event of a true emergency or evacuation, parents will receive a text message or phone call with information about the status of Bambini. Parents may also call us for additional information.
